Just joined this forum and wish I'd known about it before I bought my new TXN27. I'm having two problems in the shakeout phase. First, I keep hitting the stupid volume and mute buttons that are located on the the edge of the machine. I'm perfectly willing to use the software volume buttons instead. Is there a way to disable these buttons, or am I just going have to learn to hold my hands differently?

Second, SmartWi is a pain. It gives odd messages which are inaccurate and has twice frozen up the machine altogether. I'm using both the WWAN and the WLAN, so apparently I can't switch to some alternate utility I just learned about on this forum. I also learned about Fn-F1 which I'm now going to start experimenting with. But is there any way to get both the WLAN and WWAN on at the same time? Is there any way to get the WwAN to start up connect automatically like the WLAN does? Is there any way to control connectivity any better than this?
