    I'm about to buy SZ4** w/WAN antenna .
is it possible to use it w/other WAN providers around the world ?
I know that IBM WAN is locked and unprogrammable.

    Thank you.
    Dean.

Are you talking about the Cingular WWAN or the wireless antenna? Either way you'd have to be in a coverage area.

If you are talking about the Cingular WWAN I've read that you can use Tmobile as well but can't confirm that. There is a good chance you could use any provider that supports simm cards just like the cell phones.
