    Any way to...

    1. Remove the (potentially?) flexible antenna from the right side of the hinge?

    2. Use the Sprint WLAN for uh... ANYTHING else???

    3. Remove the Sprint WLAN hardware from the machine altogether and maybe put something in in it's place?

    1. Just pull, have faith! There'll be a hole left, it shouldn't bother you. Replacing the shiny cap is epic, I don't know that anyone has done it as it would require disassembly of the whole machine.

    2. No, I don't think so :(

    3. A while back there was a topic here about changing the 3G unit for the UK card which can accept a SIM. The difficultly is in getting it. The closest I found was a one-off development unit that came with a bunch of other stuff for about $1,500 Euros, obviously not an option. If I remember the name of the card I'll post it.
