This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    WOW sony worst service possible!

    My sony laptop took a month to repair, when they said it will be 7 days only. Moreover, it came back without the hardware switch for the wireless, so now I have a laptop that I can't connect to the internet through wireless. I have to send it back to repair again. This will probably take another month. STAY AWAY FROM SONY EVERYONE!

    Why are you sending in the laptop? Where are you located? Can you not request that they send a tech to your door (make up some story about how you need it for your job and that they messed up once, so they should fix it in front of you)... Oh and what laptop do you have?
