I installed windows 7 32 bit on my sony VGN-Z21WN/B and updated the nvidia and downloaed, the drivers for the wwan(globetrotter 2) and the globetrotter connection manager as well as the smart network utility from sony europe support centre. Following the installation I haver error code 28 driver for base systems device and I am unable to connect via the WWAN. It state device not found. I unstalled and reinstalld the driver, the manager and the smart network several times but I can't get it to work. Also, the smart network link installed in viao conrtol centre does not switch any of the network connections on or off. Under the network connections the WLAN, the Bluetooth device and the ethernet appear but not the wwan. This previously worked with VISTA.

Any help to resolve this would be appreciated.
