    Hey guys,

I'm wondering if there is a utility that turns on the notebook when the LCD panel is opened up? It's not a huge deal but it would be nice if my new S260 can do that. Thanks a lot!

It will wake from sleep that way. You mean you want it to boot out of hiberbnation or if it's turned off? I'm not sure that's possible since a push of the power button is needed for that.

How do you make it wake up from standby by just opening up the LCD lid? I know it won't wake from off or bibernation since there'd be nothing monitoring the LCD switch. Thanks ahead of time for the solution.

Whenever I have my S260 in standby and I open the LCD lid, nothing happens. I have to hit a key to make it turn back on. Does everyone else's notebook come out of standby without pressing any buttons? Thanks.

I don't know what to tell you, maybe the LCD being off is a Sony thing.
