This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Want Media Center Theme for SZ?

    The light bleed on our screen is most noticeable on lower half of the screen with lighter colors.

    As a result the start menu was looking a bit dull, with this theme I think it now looks much better. :D

    Download Here

    Extract all the files in the zip folder to C:\WINDOWS\RESOURCES\THEMES\

    When you open the display properties the theme should be available for selection via the Themes and Appearance Tabs.

    There is a Click here to download button right under the flash square that pops up. Close that and right under it.

    You can download this officially from MS. I always do. Do a search for Royale Theme or Energy Bliss and it will popup in google pretty quickly.

    I have MCE on my desktop PC, and my main complaint with that theme is that the title bar's shading goes slightly too light for the white text. Although I guess it may look better on an LCD (my desktop uses a 23" widescreen CRT).
