    HELP!!!!!!

I have a sony VGN-FE880e and I upgraded to windows 7 and was looking through my devices and the motion eye webcam is not even on there, i have looked on sony's website and tried reinstalling all of the drivers for the webcam on the website and none have solved my problem. i've looked and it seems quite a few people have had the same problem as me, yet i haven't really found a definitive solution so far. has anyone else had the same issue as me? any help would definitely be appreciated!

YES, I have have downloaded drivers from sony support site and i tried the all 3 drivers for that model and its still as if the webcam doesn't even exist, it doesnt make sense to me. The camera doesnt show up in the device manager

    PLEASE HELP

You need to extract the camera driver found in the Sony support site. Refer my clean install guide. You can use the same driver.

Camera not showing up in the device manager might be hardware problem too.

    Temka,
No, I don't have FN+F8 key to enable camera.

    Coolguy,
I did looked @ your clean install guide, and I've tried it as well. I don't think it is hardware issue, because it worked on VISTA.
