If you reload your VAIO within the first 30 days of owning it and Webroot SpySweeper asks for a product key, do the following:

    1. Reinstall using the VAIO Recovery Wizard. If it hangs at 50% of install give it a few moments and wait until the hdd light calms down then restart.
    2. Webroot will come up and may ask you to register. Choose Register Later and restart.
    3. If the registration message still comes up, choose register later, go into the Webroot software and perform a software update, then restart.

No offense but.....why would you want to keep this piece of software? I lump this in with the bloatware.

Some people are genuinely unhappy when freebie-bonus-bloatware wont work right anymore.

Just do a semi-clean install. Gets rid of pretty much everything but Napster. And you keep the important programs and drivers.
