    Weird Black screen

    I was using my Sony vaio vgn and the screen went
    Super dark there is a really faint image windows seams
    To be working . The weird part is when I reboot the computer
    The start up screen comes up just fine any ideas would be great

    Is it LCD or LED display? Could just be an inverter going out on you if it's LCD/CCFL...Obvious one here but make sure the display's brightness is turned up, maybe why it's going back to dark after windows starts to load..Works fine on external I assume?
