Ok, So i accidently bumped into my desk and noticed something on the SR screen on the right hand side along the edge of the screen...near the right hand corner.

A rippling effect the size of a finger nail (you can produce this by pressing gently on the side of the screen on the plastic part) occurs when i shake the laptop or nudge it.

Anybody have this? I wonder why this happens? is the plastic housing putting too much force on the screen in that one small area?

I have the 129E/B, but I don't seem to notice this. I've bumped or shook the laptop a few times just in use, and I haven't noticed any kind of rippling effect anywhere on the screen. Just if I were to apply stronger pressure to the backside of the screen on the outside casing.

I mean, if I poke the side on the edges of the screen (the black part), I see a rippling effect, but that is because I am applying pressure on it with a fingernail.

I'll definitely keep an eye on the screen in those situations and see if I can see anything though.

There is slight ripple when closing the lid, you can see it in the center of the bottom of the screen, but it is very minor and only notiable in a dark room...

So no screen ripple here, unless you include that made by applying pressure to an area, which will occur in all LCD's especially when the screen is made of such thin material
