I'm not always using the SZ on battery and if I'm not using it on battery, I usually take the battery out of the laptop and plug the laptop in. I just store the battery somewhere else (capacity at around 40%).
However, recently, I've noticed that when I just leave the battery somewhere (or in the laptop while it's turned off), it will lose power really fast (I lost 11% within 48h with the laptop turned off).
This doesn't affect the battery life of my laptop in use, but I always have to charge the battery right before leaving the house, which is fairly inconvenient.

I still have until November until the warranty on the battery runs out. Should I ask Sony to exchange it? Does this seem like a faulty battery to you and did someone have a similar problem?
