I took the battery off the laptop then i couldn't turn it on, and when i put the battery on, it showed that it was charging but the battery was still in use.

What's wrong with it? Anybody could give me a hand??? THX A LOT!

Sounds like perhaps your laptop is in hibernate mode and can't wake up from it... I personally avoid using hibernate and only use sleep mode.

One thing that really annoys me about vista is that the power symbol button is used for hibernate when it should just pop up a menu by default asking what you want to do...

Yes i used the hibernate mode once just to see what would happen, and it turned out i pressed the power button a few times to wake it up.....

So how could i change this condition?
    THX slacker~

err come again? did you take the battery off when it was in hibernate or turned off?

was it plugged into the AC adapter when it showed it as being charging and in use? You should have a little power cord on the battery when it is plugged into the AC adapter, otherwise it should not be there.

I do not use hibernate, I do not trust it, instead I prefer sleep, and whenever I close the lid, the laptop goes to sleep.

I didn't take the battery off when it was both in hibernate or turned off~

and yes it was plugged into the adaper when it showed it as being charging and in use.

I didn't notice the power cord on the battery later i'll check it out~~

    THX a lot!!
