Specifically I've got a T250 that I'm going to have to rip the HDD out of so that I can try to salvage some of the data on it...but I'm sure this would be relevent and useful to other people in the future as well.
    A search turns up nada.
The problem is, Toshiba, Hitachi, and Samsung all make 1.8" drives (or did) and use different pin outs...
(You can "usually" look by going to your DeviceManager and clicking on DiskDrives. For instance, my TX850 has a 60GB Toshiba HDD.)

    Thanks!

(The reason I'm not just looking on the drive is because I don't have the computer with me tonight but I need to go ahead and order the enclosure.)

Fujitsu makes them too. Have you tried calling Sony, or one of their knowledgeable resellers?

For what it's worth my Sony G11 has the Toshiba MK1011GAH. This has a ZIF ribbon cable connector. Span also lists some Hitachi and Seagate HDDs as having the same connector.
