    What Colour VAIO P Should I Buy?

    Ok, hearing how the P is going to be discontinued, I am going to bite. Here in Canada, all models P are going for 799.99 in any design. For me now it's down to the orange colour and the crocodile black colour. I am a college male student. Which one should I go for? Is the crocodile black too feminine being that it looks somewhat like a purse?

    I'd go for the crocodile black, I wouldn't worry about it looking like a purse! The spec is also better on the signature series (Atom Z540 vs Z530 on the non-crocodile skinned models). I'm hoping to get one too when I head over to the states later in the year.

    Gah. I know about the spec difference, but I didn't want to mention it because I didn't want that to influence my decision. Besides, will the Z540 really make any difference?

    Purse was the wrong item I was thinking about. It looks like a women's clutch I guess.

    The thing is, this would be a second notebook for me. My main laptop is a Sony VGN-SZ780DN. If you are familiar with that model, you'll know that it is an all black model. I don't really want two black laptops.

    The color option you should choose is subjective. However, for me, I'll go with the shockingly bright & flashy ORANGE color! :)

    I think Orange and black have the best resale value on eBay.... I could be wrong as the last time I looked Sony was still on the first gen P. Eitherway, since this sounds like a whimsicial purchase, you might want to look at resale value differences among past ebay sales.
