    Guy’s
I am in the market for a new Z117 or Z116, what should I expect to get as free accessories when I buy one of these high dollar Laptops?? i.e. carry case, mouse, software etc. etc.

In Hong Kong, I got a free VAIO carrying bag, a Victorinox gift set which included a pen and an army knife and 10% on any accessories that I wanted to buy (I took the a bluetooth mouse and a carrying slip case).

In Singapore, I believe that they get a free carrying bag, mouse and extended battery.

i got the 3 year ADH warranty (+$400) and a BT mouse (+$69.99) and they knocked 15% off my laptop (read: not order total) (~$390). You can try pushing them for a discount without any accessories but I really wouldn't expect too much.

I got the three-year ADH warranty and an extended battery and got 15% off (essentially the ADH + extended battery for free). Good deal to me.

With the Signature Z, you also get noise-canceling headphones. On the Z, they're fantastic (not quite the level of my Shure 310s, but they're in the neighborhood). Off the Z, forget about using them.

I think all the Z cto's in the US get the noise-canceling headphones too.

You got 15% off and purchased the ADH and extended battery with the savings, right? Not all three combined.

Gammaknife, all US models come with the noise canceling headphones.

I got my z1 in Singapore during the pre-order period. It came with a free antivirus program (that I don't use), extended battery, carrying case and noise canceling headphones.

Hmm when I called in my order, apparantly the US sales reps have a list of discounts for various configurations and to get 15% off you needed to purchase an extended warranty and 2 accessories. If you only purchase the laptop plus an extended warranty they can only give you $75 off... However, some reps seem to have this sheet while others have to "ask their supervisor"

Yeah I asked two sales reps and they said that ALL CTO's(in the US at least) come with headphones... I hope they're right!

I don't disagree about the sheet, though one person would only give me 10% the first time I called. I was able to get 15% off the second time.

I say it was free because the 15% that they took off the machine covered the cost of the ADH and the battery.

And yes, the noise canceling headphones come with all US CTOs. But it still is a free accessory, thus filling the requirement set by the OP.

I guess i'll pitch in from the pre-configured group of Zs. Included in my pre-config were also noise canceling earbuds and an XP downgrade disc.
