Im sorry guys, there might be threads about reinstalling and such already, but most of them seems very very large and I just have a simple question regarding the SSD in the VPC-Z1.

Is there any crucial SSD related drivers I should keep when doing a clean windows install? or does windows7/8 find the needed drivers automatically?

Windows 7 has the Intel drivers, but you'll want to update them to the latest RST once Windows is loaded. You can get these from Intel's site.

You can also use the F6 drivers, but that shouldn't be necessary.

Windows 8 has a Windows 7 base, so drivers shouldn't be a huge problem.

Thanks for the info! all I needed :)

I just wanted to make sure that the SSD didnt need special drivers (not sure in what way) that would make it fubar when formatted.

Cheers! About to install windows 8!
