Apparently, as a new owner of a Vaio, I can buy Vaio accessories from Sony Style at 20% discount. With this in mind, what do you think I should get?

The first thing I want to get is a protective case/bag for my TZ. I have a Sony backpack, but its laptop space is too damn big to fit snuggly a TZ. So what's a good case/bag for TZ?

Anything else I should get? I don't have anything, other than the TZ right now. Oh yeah, I do have a Sony mouse.

I brought mine with the leather case, docking station, and cleaning kit.

I was considering getting an extra battery, but, considering I imported mine, I was able to choose to receive the largest capacity battery with it. I think 10+ hours will do me for now!

I think I know which case you're talking about. Is that really protective and light and fit for a TZ? I was deciding between that and the neopletsomething case, but it's supposed to be for a TX. TX and TZ are the same size?

Huh, I didn't know there was a docking station out for TZ. The stupid Sony Style sales rep said TZ didn't have a docking station yet...

I'm a TZ owner from Holland, like Nanaki, I picked up the CK-TZ2 case from SonyStyle and imported the cleaning kit from Japan. I'm debating whether or not to get the large capacity battery too.

Needles  - Maybe he means the little brush with the varying length bristles for cleaning in between the keys. That is actually kind of less relevant on the TZ given the keyboard layout of individual keys (plus I'm kind of worried it might scratch the glossy bezel). Works fine on the touch pad buttons though (and does a nice job on my wife's C series)

Hi Nanaki, is it so big as it seems to the pictures the largest battery? Is it annoying? How many hours of work do you take from there with normal settings? I have the standard and i can push it to last to 5 hours..,later on i will purchase for sure the largest ;)

That's what I assumed. I also think that it does not have much use, but I still think that the cost for the whole kit isn't too expensive. Having it all fit into its wallet is also nice.

I don't mind its size at all. It even acts as a mini notebook riser, which I like.

I could get 10 hours out of it. I am on power saver mode and it says that I still have 5:45 left with 60% remaining. I use the side bar with no Aero, and I also leave wireless and the DVD drive on all the time. If I disabled a lot more, I would be able to get more battery life.

It's not the best, but it does offer some padding and there is also some room for the bag to bend inward before it touched the notebook.
