Have you made registration with Vaio when you purchased your laptop? I am just wondering whether to do that or just waste time...

I bought SZ in USA (USA model) but I am now living outside usa. So I can not register as the registration form requires address and postal in usa.
    Is there alternative way?

I was registered to Sony when I purchased new SZ.But when I want them to replace AC adaptor because electric shock problem. They won't do it without invoice .I said " I registered with SONY at the I got it from the store" but they said there is not thing can do without invoice, registered is useless.
