I realized that if I want to buy a bag, and I want to have the extended battery for some trips, I'd better get something that will accomodate the extended battery...

I'm thinking that with the battery, it might be more like the size of a 3:4 aspect ratio 14" laptop... but that's just a guess...

    Can anyone confirm size ?

The SZ is 12.5" x 9.3" x 1.3", and the battery should be adding to the 9.3" side... I'm guessing 10.3 maybe ? Maybe more ? Does it stick out and down, or just out ?

Post pics of it attached too if you can !

    Thanks !

    It's about 12.5x9.7x1.4.

Will have pics when my review is done, but it's out and a tad down. Gives the SZ a nice angle good for typing IMHO

    Great ! Thanks FenderP.

I also assume that with the extended battery, it no longer fits in the Sony CKZ1 Case ?

I found another case today which may work - an older Tumi no longer made.

Still looking, but it looks to be the best I've seen so far for the SZ with the extended battery and wanting to possibly put it in another bag besides the Lodis bag.
