    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor P8600 (2.40GHz)

Microsoft® Windows Vista® Home Premium with Service Pack 1

    1 GB DDR2-SDRAM (DDR2-800, 1GBx1)

120 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive [5400 rpm]

    13.3" WXGA (XBRITE-ECO™ technology)

    ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3470

    TOTAL 1548.99

I will add 2 GB of RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148162 for 50 bucks on my own to total 3 GB.

I barely use my HD, I use external drives. thus i only get 120 GB.

    What do you think?

Is the ATI GPU a good choice? I don't want to loose TOO much battery from it, but I assume the ATI outperforms the intel by a lot... Plus that whole reason why montevina was delayed was due to intel's graphics issues or something... rather not risk it.

    THanks!!!

Go for 4GB. Then you will able to benefit from dual channel.
Vista uses 3,25 I believe. (If the price is wort it though)

Besides, I'm thinking you'll get better deals on preconfigured SR's in the retail channel!
