Hi guys! I wanted to know which part gets backed up the discs.
From hidden partion or current configured version of Windows?

I'm asking this because I've already 2times restored my Vaio
And now I wanted to know whether should I make 2nd copy backup discs.

Not sure but I believe the discs are to recover the factory settings. Either way you really should make them just in case there is ever a problem with your hdd or something.

That's right, I would make a second backup of the discs to make sure otherwise if the hard drive dies it's going to cost you to get some recovery discs from Sony... not to mention the hassle.

The disks are made using the hidden recovery partition NOT your current system state.

Thanks. So If my HDD gets broken, will I be able to insert a new HDD and run these discs?

I'm thinking about getting SSD in future, so that I would just pop that disc in.

Yes, but it will return your system to its "out of the box" state. None of your data, no updates, none of the applications you installed yourself would be present.
