I am new to the VAIO line of notebooks. I see other sites like newegg.com that have a bunch of BX series notebooks but I see no mention of them on the Sony website.
Have they been discontinued? Are the in a different division of Sony? Are they listed somewhere on their website?
I am looking for a 17" notebook but don't want the AR with Blu-Ray. too much money.
Thanks,
Darin

Yes, that is the business line of notebooks. Go here to see them.

The BX series is Sony's business only models (i.e. not going to see them at normal consumer places like Best Buy or even their own Sonystyle stores).
Check out b2b.sony.com for where to see them in all their specs. -
Yes they are part of Sony's enterprise business lines, built/assemebled right here in San Diego, CA USA, here are soem options here too:

I'm thinking about getting a BX640. Has anyone reviewed this model or any of the other BX6 series notebooks?
What happened to the BX series notebooks?
