    hi,
i have a Sony Vaio PCG-7134M (on the base) or a VGN-NR38M_S (in the BIOS).
My hd is dead. I plan to replace it, prob with an SSD, however, i can't seem to find out if this model has a PATA or SATA. I've spent all afternoon searching, please help.

    p.s.
Why are there two machine types??
