    What is causing the fan to go on?

    In the past days I was playing with the performance of my Z and I was able to keep it's temperature quite low hoping for no fan noise. Even though I was quite succesful about the temp and it's true that the fan is going on much less...still it goes and I don't know the reason, as I thought the fan goes on, when it reach some temperature. Right now the fan is on with these temperatures:

    I think the fan stays on all the time, it only changes speed based on the temps.

    WOW, 26c for core#1! What is your room temp? How do you get it this low?

    No, my fan is off most of the time in Stamina mode...but everytime I start computer it goes on for some reason.

    23-24°C :) Just echandged HDD for SSD (that was biggest temp drop) and playing with services (now 68 running incl. AV, Logitech SetPoint and Nvidia switcher). Another step will be undervolting, but it needs more time ,)

    ...I wanted to echange my thermal paste for AS5 as well, but it looked to difficult to get to the CPU....maybe in the future :)
