What is notetaking on the sony flip 15 like?
In practice do you end up using the sony flip 15 for notetaking or just as a laptop?
I've been looking at the sony flip 15 lately because 1) screen space 2) decent notetaking whereas wacom only supports up to 13.3 inches.
But part of me thinks I will not end up using it as a notetaker because it only has 5 hours battery and because it is so big for a convertible.

I think a 15" tablet would be great for taking notes but I've never used the Flip 15. I heard other people say it's pretty good though.
I've used a 12.1" tablet PC , a 12.5" and a 13.3." The 13.3" and 12.1" ones used 16:10 screens. So far the 13.3" screen offered the closest experience to writing on an actual paper partially due to the size.
Keep in mind that a 13.3" 16:10 screen has about the same screen area as a 14" 16:9 screen. -
I think it's very easy & comfortable. Keep in mind that the flip models have a very thin edge around the main border where the keyboard is. The outside edge of this area may feel like it's "digging into" some people's legs, depending on how you sit with it. It doesn't bother me though. I really like the N-trig pen; I can write notes, use a highlighter feature, cut & paste certain lines/words onto different areas of the page, and erase things I've written.

Here is a video of the pen being using in various apps.
