What is the HDD size for the Z? 1.8 or 2.5?

Sorry but the search only confused me more! The "Z" is too short and tons of irrelevant threads show up. What confused me even more is that Sony customer service told me it's 2.5 but I see people here buying 1.8 SSD for their Z. I know I should trust Sony's people, but the guy didn't know what FreshStart is (as seen on their own website, at Z configurator) so I have some issues with trusting their knowledge.

Anyone who opened and installed another HDD: what is the size of the original HDD in inches, not GB? I would like to upgrade to a SSD and I am not sure what size to get. Also, is it a lot of work to replace the HDD in the Z? If you know of any links, maybe a step-by-step guide, please help me out. I change it on my SZ and it was much longer than just opening the memory slot

It's a 2.5" HDD IIRC.
