This program worked well on Win7 before with Nvidia graphics, but this new SA with AMD it shows up like this:

Could someone explain what causes this and how to fix it?

What exactly are we supposed to be seeing or not to be seeing here!? The misalignment in the window?

Are both computers you compare with the same resolution?

Large fonts is causing this. Switch to normal size fonts and reboot.

the program does not allow resizing of the window,so it should normally all fit

resolution does not seem to affect this problem

Start--->Control Panel--->Display Choose small (100%) for font size

It's the font size. Did you choose SMALL or NORMAL? You need to choose small. and you need to reboot.

It sure looks like font issue to me. What other software behaves this way?

Even changing to Classic Windows Theme doesn't change anything.

The software I showed is Sonic Stage Mastering Studio. I have Vaio computers running Vista/XP that have an official copy and a Win7 1st gen Z with an "unofficial" copy which works fine.

I have been having other problems with this computer since I got it yesterday (see my other post about the battery). I wonder if I should do a recovery?

Try the "Fn" key along with F9 or F10. That's the magnifier function. You can also try to change the Advanced appearance settings from Control Panel - Personalization and switch to a different font like Microsoft Sans Serif for example.

^What resolution are you running? If set too low, some programs will misbehave.

I returned the SA3 and got an SA2.

Same problem so it must be the AMD chip.

I know nothing about programming, so how can change the .cab or .bin files in the program itself to change the default window size within the program so the fonts aren't too big?
