Tough to answer. Want to narrow down the countries a tad?
Most local Sony stores have set pricing, so it is all boiled down to country specific.

With the weak dollar , I guess, USA will offer best prices ?
Cheapest Z model will is independent from the country, cheapest specific model is country dependent -
If you want to go the round of currency rate then yes - usa price is cheaper comparing to europe. But even with this, it is not always true. The same model would run very much neck in neck when taking vat, custom tax into consideration.

Are you after the latest model or do you not mind a older model? Are you also after one with the highest resolution 1600x900 or wouldn't you mind one with a 1366x768 res?

Older model , no problem, just the basic low end model -
This is pretty cheap for a Z.

This is the cheapest I've seen so far, $1,146.80 w/ free shipping no tax for a P8400 Z540. You need to wait 2 weeks for them to restock though. -
I got my Z520 for ~$1300 from amazon

You could try hunt on the refurbished ones...
got my Z590 wth 2.53GHZ+BDRW+4Gram
