I am looking everywhere in trying to decide which notebook to buy. At the end the answer was sony S series. now, everywhere i look I see, "s150, s260, and s270". For some reason with all the configuration being the same ( HD Size, speed, memory, etc) The newer ne came out cheaper. See for yourself at sonystyle.com. My question is what is the technical difference beween the 3? Having all the same configuation is there something new on the newer version interms of actual physical alteration or internal workings? Thanx

The s150 and s170 are the s type models that came out in the summer. The only differance is that the s170 was user configurable on sonystyle.com (and thus more likely to have a radeon 9700 video card). The same rules are true with the s260 and s270 respectively. As far as the diferance between the s1xx and the s2xx the only things i see are that the s1xx had a dvd-r option. The s2xx stated with a dvd+-r option, but that was pretty quickly taken away.
