Can't comment on bluetooth mice.... however, if you're willing to consider a non-bluetooth mouse, I'd highly recommend the Logitech VX Revolution. It's one of the nicest mice I've ever used, and the little dongle stores securely inside it (and doesn't take up much space when in use since it is so tiny).

The Logitech mouse is a fine mouse. I have both the Sony Bluetooth Optical and newer Laser mice. The old optical version ate batteries like crazy, and I had problems connecting to the laptop at times. The new laser version claims four weeks of battery life and I have not had any problems connecting so far. The build quality seems better than the optical version. The Sony mice are overpriced, but hey...that's expected.

The Sony mouse does look cool, but it seems to be too small for me. I would go for the logitech one. And in some cases I wouldn't even go for the Logitech one because it doesn't have enough buttons for me. I like to have a lot of it on the mouse.

These are Microsoft's bluetooth mice. Check them out. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductList.aspx?Type=Mouse&AdditionalType=Trackball&feature1=bluetooth
But these are designed for PCs cuz they probably come with a huge bluetooth thing, but since you have it in your laptop then you don't need it.

I started with a MS wireless notebook mouse and wanted to get rid of the dongle. Tried a v270 and had noticable lag in performance. It would take a split-second before my movement would engage the pointer. I don't know if that was due to it being bluetooth, how Logitech works, or my system being stupid, but I got rid of it and I'm back to the dongle. Love my Microsoft mouse though.

Mogo mouse is very cool if you travel a lot. Not very good for working on your computer for longer than 20 minutes or so since it's not the most comfortable thing. But I bring a corded Logitech G5 mouse for some light gaming if I need anything for longer than that.

    I have the Logitech mouse.

On the TX, the driver won't install, but the BTmanager still recognizes it. The problem is that the mouse is more sensitive than the touchpad, so when you switch from the touchpad to the mouse, you have to change the mouse sensitivity settings.

The logitech is good on batteries. I've been using the original batteries with a few hours of daily use for a few months. However, I do have a problem with the setpoint software. It won't properly install with the Toshiba or Widcomm bluetooth stacks. You get a setpoint mouse tab but it doesn't have full functionality to configure the mouse buttons. I'd love to be proven wrong though!
