my boss wants me to upgrade the 60gb hard drive in his Vaio VGN-TXN19P/L to like 80 or 100gb. Does this laptop use 2.5" or 1.8" hard drives? SATA or PATA? Anyone know? Couldn't find the specs anywhere. Much less a guide on take-apart. I am really nervous to try any upgrade this laptop myself without any guide.
Are there any resources available to help with this? much appreciated...........

TX uses 1.8" HDD. They are really hard to find & very, very expensive....
A good guide to take apart the TX can be found in the following thread (by overdrive):

so then the 100gb 1.8" Toshiba MK1011GAH should work?
I cant find anyone selling it online sadly.........
is there an 80gb drive that is more readily available? -
I heard there was going to be a push of new 120gb drives in the 1.8" range soon, that might lower prices and increase availability of the smaller storage sizes in the near future.
What kind of Hard Drive is inside the TX series? 2.5", 1.8" ??
