Just wondering what size external monitor everyone is using on there Z. I am considering getting the dock and I have a extra 24" screen I think I would use.

Does anybody have the Z dock. If so can you give me a quick review on it.

19" 1600x1200 CRT for picture work.
20" 1600x1200 LCD for gaming, 800x600 for speed.
4:3 and square pixels still rules, especially for OpenGL.

The reason for using a CRT for picture work is that while more blurry, CRTs still can display a wider range of colours than LCDs.

However, what I would like to see are ICC colour profiles for the Intel and nVidia cards. The gamut differs.

In the last 3 days I've gone through a new samsung 37 in 1080P and new LG 37" 1080P and both dont show 1920 X 1080 correctly using HDMI. I am also looking for a recommendation for a 37" 1080P that will work correctly at 1080P using HDMI

27" at 1920x1200 via DVI/docking station. A little screen flicker when you drop the Z in the dock, but that's what all laptops do (actually windows) in order to add the secondary display. No problems what so ever, the docking station is .. just that :)
Just a tiny hint: I am using GridMove in order to move my windows around, maybe you guys wanna try it out (those who use an ext display+internal), it's a nice little software that you can set like CTRL+1, CTRL+2 or whatever in order to quickly move the active window to first/second monitor. It's also able to move/resize to just a half of the screen (any size actually) so my ext 27" it's "splited" into 2, that way I can have 2 documents or 2 browsers really fast on my secondary screen. I searched like crazy to find something that will do this with almost 0 memory resources.

Also tried 1080p (1920x1080) via HDMI on my 47" Samsug 850, works great, but you do have to "turn ON" the secondary display via Display Properties. Over the docking station it's all by itself, you set the resolution and turn on the sec. display once and later on it will remember it all the time.

Hey, I just got the Productivity Bundle from Sony. The included docking station (which should be the same a the ones they sell separately) works great! But one thing I should point out (if you don't already know, it's listed on the spec) is that the DVI port on the docking station is DVI-D, not the DVI-I type that we are used to seeing on majority of LCD today.

One small gripe I had on the docking station is that there is only 3 USB ports. But it's free, so I can't really complaint.

Not sure if this is what you were looking for. Let me know and I will post more info.
