    I am considering the official sony case you mentioned along with the zeroshock III sleeve.

    How do you like your sony case?

    THanks =]

    Those are really nice bags. How long have you had yours for? And how's it holding up?

    I've had mine for probably about 6 months now and I'm not exactly nice to my bags, it seriously still looks brand new. I've had it out in the rain several times and no papers or anything has gotten inside. When I bought it originally I had an issue with the price, but having not found any other bag that fit my needs I bought it anyways. I can see now though that the money is well worth it. Its holding up much better then any other bag I've ever owned, and I don't really buy cheap bags.

    There are two things I keep telling people to get on this forum for the Z, the bag and the sony bluetooth mouse. While there are other accesories, these two things truly have bonded to my Z to make the whole thing one neat little package. Its like a pant/shirt/underwear combo, you really don't wanna go anywhere without all three.

    I really can't recommend the bag enough, especially when it comes to the Z, it fits perfectly and has an elastic strap inside to keep it snug as well as padding all around (you can forgo extra sleeves!). It also has enough space for files and any extra wires or accesories that you like to carry, it should even fit a text book or two, although I've never tried.

    I think i'm sold lol. I did purchase the sony rechargeable bt mousewith cradle along with the sleeve. Cant wait for that. I guess I could use the bag for school and the sleeve for suitcases for traveling.

    Thanks for that recommendation!

    Which one is that?

    Yea I have a sleeve as well as the nice "protective case with vaio smart protection" or whatever. I don't use either.

    EDIT: nvm I looked it up, it looks a bit dif from the one I have, but those angles are very deceptive so who knows. Mine uses 2 AA batteries. Rechargeable woulda been nice.

    In the specs it states one full charge would last a month but I assume it would be cut by a few days.

    I'm going too look around that site for bags that have similar quality as yours. Hopefully something cheaper.

    Be carefull, I tried the bag in the store, a lot of them don't fit the Z right. I should rather say, the one I got was the only one that fit it.

    That aside, because of the slightly unusual shape of the Z a lot of bags don't fit right for it. Its a bummer. I say spend the money, I know its a lot, but you'll be happy.

    Thanks for the insight, although the sr's dimensions are different of the z's so im sure a majority of 13 inch bags would work.

    It is a nice case and I am happy with it's purchase. I did not pay full retail as I am a Sony employee so I am not sure if it is worth full retail. The metal "VAIO Smart Protection" badge on the lower right looks pretty good. The notebook fits very snug in the case and there is no movement at all. The only con I have with the case is the material used for the outside. I would have preferred it to have more of a "grip" feeling so it wouldn't fall out of my hands if I were to be carrying it.

    The case does what it's suppose to do though; which is prevent scratches!
