    Hi guys,

    I see most of the people here get the SZ series but what is the consensus on the FJ series?

    No good? Bad buy? Besides the notebookreview on it, there isn't much on this site on the FJ270. Anyone care to share?

    I'm pretty happy with my FJ270/b. I purposefully didn't buy a laptop to use for gaming, and the FJ270 handles everything I need to do very well. I've used to for DVDs, word-processing, photoshopping, and internet-ing.

    I am, however, having some issues with the laptop making some annoying humming/whining sounds while it's running off of battery power ---- which is enough to make me think that I wish I could return this for another model. The hum/whine is pretty faint, but can really grate your ears when you're in a quiet office like I am (and can be embarrassing/distracting when you're in a meeting).

    End of story --- I'm "pretty" happy with my computer. The noises that it can make are really frustrating, and I can't figure out if I can do anything to correct them. :/
