I going to upgrade my old s series to a new sz series. The s series notebook has a smaller keyboard with no individual page up/down buttons, which is really annoying. I'm impressed by the size of the sz's keyboard, but I read some comments about people not liking it.
For those of you that have typed on the keyboard for a while, do you like it? If not, besides the tiny issue with the space bar, what don't you like about it? Thanks for your help.

i have no problems with it but many would complain that the keys make a lot of noise compared to other notebook keyboards like toshiba/hp/etc

No problem with the keys on the SZ450.

the SZ450 has a quiet keyboard? i heard that the newer SZ models don't have the issue with the space bar not working on the edges.

glad to hear it.
Thanks. -

I really like it. I'm hard on keyboards and this one feels comfortable to me and I can bash away on it lol

I don't know where these problems are coming from...I know 3 people who have an SZ and their keys are fine. All the SZ models I have looked at inside Circuit City, Best Buy, etc have good keyboards. The do have a click-sound to the keyboard but I like that.

I have had the laptop since August and written a few long reports with it, and I must say the SZ's keyboard is awesome aside from the space bar issue like you mentioned.
Otherwise it's all good. -
I don't have any significant issues with my SZ keyboard.
What's wrong with the SZ keyboard?
