Hello,
I'm an owner of Z610 and really happy with it, Bought around 7 Z laptops for friends. Now i'm planning to get 2 more for other friends, it's Z TIME here. I used to get Z520 for around $1200 from eBay but it's for $1370 as the lowest now. Any trusted seller or store to buy it from for =< $1200?
Thanks

Still on sale. -
That's appreciated, would you please check where is it made in? US or Japan?
Thanks -
Assembled in the US down in San Diego. Combine it with the free accessories and you're doing very well!
-
Thats wont work, I'm lookin' for made in Japan units.
-
Why would it not work?
-
I had a bad experience with CTO assembled in US unit before thats why i'm looking for a pre-configured Japanese unit. Thanks Speed
-
Well mine seems to be fine. If it's under warranty I don't see why that would matter.

Does it come with Windows Vista CD w/ Windows XP ?
PCNation has a list of Sony Vaio Z laptops starting from $1,146.80 Z540

The Zones deal is still better. My came with 2 GB and 250GB drive. The one listed on PC Nation for same price is 1GB and 160GB drive.
-
Did your Vaio come with Vista recovery CD?
-
I was totally gonna say the exact same thing
-
No, you need to make your own. It came with XP CD.
-
Guys, both Zones & PC Nation are online stores only? Dont they have a physical stores? Preferably in CA.
-
Nope. Also I think any store is actually going to be more expensive than online. The only way I think you can find it cheaper is finding an open box unit or old model. Best Buy might be an option as I hear some stores still have a few of the Z520/Z540s around. Other than that they only sell the z610y/b for $1899
-
Will you be buying it in CA, if they have physical stores there?
Note that if you buy in store, you'll be looking at the price + about $150 more in taxes, which will probably make any kind of deal "not a deal anymore."
-
Doesnt CA already charge sales tax for online orders?
-
Too bad these site don't ship to Canada. I would buy a Vaio Z520 in a heartbeat at those prices.
-
Both Zones and PCNation dont have it in stock, You gotta backorder them
any other stores?
Whats the "Cheapest" pleace to buy VGN-Z520N/B from?
