    Hi all,

I am having problems on sonystyle.com (usa). After building a Vaio SR series notebook, i get the price with tax and everything, but when i click "proceed to checkout" it just gives me an emty shopping cart?

I am in europe using the site, can that be the problem?

In that case WHY don't i get any notification on what is the problem? Sony's webpage has to be the MOST confusing webpage ever!

I am logged in with my data (address in usa) when using the site.

    any suggestions?

What browser do you use? I've had some problems with the site in Firefox, but switching to IE worked.

I can't even get on their website, myself. No browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE, etc) is working, and I've used a different connection (ISP) and I can't get it to work, either. Just gives me an error that I don't have permission to view their website.

My experience of Sony Style's (European) website is that it's pretty flakey too. When I ordered my Z I got an error message and was prompted to call them with my order reference.

EDITED: Nevermind. I think Sony Style just hates FireFox. If you're having trouble, try IE.

I've had many wonky experiences with SS. Seems like the things get cleaned up in a day or two, but sure enough something else strange starts happening. Nice website for the most part though...
