I own an SZ460 and currently I don't care much about the HD versions of DVDs or their players.

But in 18 months or so, I may have converted most my DVDs to BluRay and might be buying all of my new movies in that format. When I travel, I'd like to watch these new BluRay titles on my SZ460 on an internal drive.

So, anyone know if the current Vaio series will ultimately accommodate a swap of the existing optical drive for one that supports BluRay? Or is my purchase decision final and I'll never be able to watch BluRay on an internal drive on my notebook?

I don't see why not, by that time BluRay should be a more common format.
