This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I'm in the market to replace my aging, yet still perfectly functional, TR1, but haven't been sold by the feedback on the TX5 series. I'm particularly concerned by the noisy fan, and the news that new chips are looming.

    Does anyone have any idea when we should expect the next generation of this line?

    I'm assuming when they release their new Summer lineup, which will probably have Intel's new Santa Rosa chipset.

    Good things are coming for the Tx series.
