    When does Sony usually refresh?

    My friend is thinking about pulling the trigger on a new vaio Z. He needs it for the fall school semester so he doesn't need it now, but it would be nice to have. I know no one knows when Sony will do a refresh but do they typically refresh this early? I read others talking about a refresh coming in May or June, but that's only 3-4 months after the Z was actually released. Is this a realistic refresh time frame or should he just buy it? Really don't want to buy and have a refresh two weeks later. Thanks for all replies.

    Hi All,
    In April, I ordered a Sony Z11Z9E/B from an official french sony supplier. I don't receive it. But yesterday, the commercial called me and said to me that they will never receive the Z11Z9E/B because they will receive the Z12 in june whitch is the Z11 refresh. He will give me the spec when he have it.

    I got mine in the month of April from hong kong.. Z117G high end.. after waiting in months of queue..

    would be frustrated if they do some major upgrade...

    Hi all,
    I have got some news about the sony Z11 refresh. There will be a little change on Z12. Z12 will have a SSD 512Go + 8Go RAM and will cost about 500€ more (near 3000€ ;). The commercial say to me that there will be some little spec change each 3 month (Z12,Z13,Z14...) until the New Z1 in january 2011.
