    Hi guys,

    I've been an avid reader of the Sony Vaio Z i5/i7 thread and I feel it's about time I purchased a Vaio Z. However, lately I've heard that the Z is due out for a refresh really soon. So my question is, when do you think the new refresh will come out because right now, I want to wait until Tigerdirect has more Z's in stock(they ran out) if I am to purchase one.

    Thanks =þ

    I didn't hear anything about a refresh, but I'm very curious now too. Any relevant info and/or links?

    I don't think VPCZ1 will refresh soon. VPCS1 and F series still didn't refreshed yet and they launched 2 months earlier than Z

    It only came out around 1st March! Refresh will be June/July at the earliest and even then it depends on Intel. I think if Intel release a few more i5/i7 chips they may become options.

    Just buy now. You can keep waiting and waiting for the next best thing and then once you purchase it something newer and better will come along.

    Oh bing cashback is from bing.com. Go to shopping and search for "laptop". There will be a sponsor link at the top or on the side for tigerdirect and click on the cashback link. It will take you to the tigerdirect page and you will see on the right column a little bing cashback sign. After you purchase, you should get an email within 48 hours with information about the cashback.
