My Dell 8600 is fading fast, It's not dead but will last me a couple of months if need be to wait for the new models.
I need a good graphics card for 3d animation work, long battery life for watching DVD's and writing on long airplane trips and decent size for the airplane trips. Sony seems to hit all these with the SZ,(or the FJ if it had a dedicated graphics card option.)
1. Any idea when the memron will be in the SZ or it's replacement line?
2. Any idea if they will have blu-ray drives?
3. Think they will add a pre-n wireless option like Dell just did?
3. Anyone know if the expect the graphics to be a dedicated option in the FJ series or it's replacement?
Thanks for the input...

Hi FX Guy,
It looks like you have workstation requirements.
Have you taken a look at Toshiba's workstation offerings?
Toshiba Tecra M5-P2411
(It's not even a gaming GPU, it's a workstation GPU.)
And what sort of budget are you working with?
Blue ray and workstation graphics do not come cheap.
(The only notebook with blu-ray in the whole world right now is Sony's AR) -
I'm not too worried about budget, (I'm not going to spend 5k but my dell was 3k new)
I'm worried about battery on the toshiba as that is somewhat important for long plane flights and it doesn't have the option ti switch off the better GPU to go with the lower power one like in the SZ.
When to expect new SZ's or their replacements?
