All of Sony's notebooks always seem to be lacking something or have some sort of flaw. The FZ series has a beautiful screen with excellent performance, but suffers from overheating and terrible battery life. The AR series have the same thing, but suffer from excess weight compared to other 17 inch notebooks, and bulky design. The AR series can only carry an nVidia 8600 GT, which is terrible for a 17 inch if you're going to carry the extra weight around (8800 GTX should be a option ;) ).

Is Sony going to release a new and improved series of notebook? If so, when?
How is Sony's business line of notebooks?

Next update should be for the Centrino 2 platform, mid year.
