    Hey,

My Z died on me recently after almost 3 years.
I had a 3YR extended warranty service and since they had troubles fixing it, it got replaced with brand new SB.

I have all my Z's data on an external hdd.
I'm trying to find a file that was placed in the encrypted safe the Z had.
There is no relevant information on Google and I can't seem to find it by simply searching its name.
I assume its somewhere around \Users\gil...

Anyone knows where its suppose to be?

    Thanks,
    gil.

    Indeed.

    Sorry for not updating.
I already found it exactly where you mentioned, but couldn't open the safe.
I contacted UPEK. They gave me a link to PS QL, told me to rename the file to personalsafe.uea and then use the backup password to access it.

    It worked perfectly.
    Thanks to UPEK :)

    Hi,

I managed to locate the file. Could you please tell me what program I need to install in order to open this file? I have the backup password for the safe. I will copy the file to another computer which will not be a sony Vaio. Look forward to hearing from you.

The file may be hidden, so choose the windows option to view hidden files and most likely you should find the file in that folder.
