    Does anyone know where I can purchase a Portable Media Dock with Bluray Writer for my Vaio Z I bought about 6 months ago.

    Didn't think I needed it at the time, but could do with it now for the extra graphics power and also the Bluray burning capabilities.

    I'm in the Uk so preferably somewhere in UK would be great.

    Sony sells 2 versions which are Bluray and DVD for $500 and $400.
    Both come with 6650 1GB.
    Google is your friend too.

    There have been a few on NBR market place in the past but most, if not all, based in US. Depending on customs, may work out cheaper

    Since it is mandatory in the US to purchase the Z2 with a PMD, there are likely many interested sellers who assume there is no market for their PMD here. You might want to post it in the NBR "Wanted to Buy" portion of the Marketplace. I'll bet there are a good number of Z2 owners who never use their PMD at all and would welcome a couple hundred dollars for "nothing." I'm sure you could arrange it so the valuation for customs purposes is very low and shipping via USPS doesn't cost much either.

    I might even suggest you ask the Mods to end this thread and re-start it as "Does Anyone Want to Sell Their BluRay PMD?" You could get flack from the Mods, who often insist that anything involving commerce be solely in Marketplace, but few people look at the Wanted to Buy section, and if a Mod tries to take you down, just explain that you are doing two members (yourself and the prospective PMD seller) a service that could not work on Marketplace. Worst case, Post it on mktplc and, if you get no bites after 3 days, then re-title this thread.

    Or you may get lucky and someone will offer to sell you theirs just from this thread's title. :)
