Greetings, and sorry if this is a redundant post. I see all kinds of great guides for installing XP on Sony notebooks, and all that I've seen refer to having a SATA or SATAII driver to slipstream, however I am unclear as to where I can obtain the actual driver that will work for this process. I have a Z570 which has the Toshiba MK3252GSX 320Gb Hard Drive, and the Toshiba site doesn't have a section for downloading XP Drivers.

Can somebody clue me in? I'm just not figuring out where to get this specific driver.

Once I have the driver, I think I understand the slipstreaming/F6 process. I got all of the other drivers for the Z model from Sony Asia site and extracted them -- I may even already have the SATA driver, but just don't recognize it if I do...

    Thanks!

its a driver for the SATA controller you need, which is probably made by intel.

If you use XP SP3 you will not need an aditional driver as far as I know. XP SP3 has this build in.

You have an Intel(R) ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller and you can use any of the drivers listed here that support it (read the iaAHCI.inf or release notes for support information). Use the drivers in the f6flpy32 zip file.

They can be slipstreamed with nLite.
