    Where do Sony ship their Configured To Order notebook from? Are they all shipped from one location? How quickly they notified you after the notebook has been shipped with the tracking number?

    My Daughter's S480 CTO shipped from California, I was notifed the night it shipped.

    At least at that time the order screens seemed to indicate that the order status would update several times as it moved through the process. It did not, it went from stage 1 ("Ordered" I think) to "shipped".
