    Western Digital, Seagate and Hitachi- any recommendations?

    Seagate 7200.3 is pretty cheap ATM as compared to the other two.
    You could also look into the ST9250421AS(G), which seems to be a bit quicker than the 320GB version.
    You can checkout all 3 HDD brands at these stores....

    And here is a comparison of the 3 HDDs....
