This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can anyone post their experience with following Vaio models:

    FS840W and FE670G

    Price difference between the two is around 450 bucks so thinking what will I gain that wud be worth spending that much extra? The most noticeable difference I find between them is that FS has XBrite screen while FE has XBrite HiColor... can anyone comment on quality of their displays too...

    As a sidenote, I read at some posts on notebookforums that user see some sparkle issues on their FE screens (mostly in FE550G)...is this true?
